Relocation Pay

Hi, I took a promotion in April of last year that required that I relocate to TX. I was promised $500 in moving costs reimbursement and agreed to it despite it being a minor contribution to the total cost. I requested a written contract stating that amount and my supervisor assured me that I wouldn’t need one and wouldn’t get one. I agreed to proceed without anything in writing and it has now been over a year since I moved here and haven’t received any reimbursement. This in combination with excessive hours, constant short staffing issues, and pay cuts in the form of reduced bonuses from sales have resulted in this being my last day with this company having given two weeks notice two weeks ago. I’ve sent an email to HR, and texted my bosses boss, and I’m being ghosted. Any ideas on recourse without something in writing? Thanks…
