Remember folks: it’s always in a corporation’s best interest you don’t know your rights

Get educated. Assistant manager told me two days ago that I’m not allowed to take a break because my shift was only five hours. Cited the Americans with Disabilities Act, and suddenly, everything’s alright. She fully would’ve stuck with that had I not known my rights, but the second I show I do, she’s very open to allowing me to break. Corporations make bank on you not knowing your worth and rights as an employee. Abuse that shit. Give ‘em a run for their money. Spite every company on earth by reading up on your rights, even if you aren’t a protected class. It works wonders for the working environment when everyone’s educated.
