The faculty in my department is planning a work event and they put out a call for people who want to compete in a “T shirt design contest” for “an awesome prize (TBD)”. They included guidelines like what colors it needs to be, the art styling, etc, and the design must be themed to advertise the event. I just got another email today “reminding” me that there's a contest, AKA, “send us a free design we can use so that you might receive a prize”. If the prize if TBD then we already know it's not even monetary compensation. Fuck that
