My boyfriend works for a big tractor trailer dealership/shop. He was just informed yesterday that the company will no longer allow managers to give raises based on merit. As of last week the company is only requiring penny raises each year for their employees. Raises can only be earn by completing their in house training which takes hours in front a computer. These guys do back breaking work that keep our food and supplies moving all over the country and their hard work will no longer be recognized by nothing more than some paperwork and a penny.
