Hello, idk if this is the right sub but here goes.
So, in my country, it is courteous (and somewhat mandatory) to write a resignation letter before leaving. I have found job opportunities with a better salary, more relaxed hours and most importantly away from this god forsaken city.
They're replacing people left and right because we're underselling and I know I am next on the list. I also know that you shouldn't “scratch your itch” in a letter because you might go back to them someday. But boy this job is pissing me off!!
Just in case, is there a polite, non bridge-burning way of writing to my manager that he's a micro-managing douchebag and belittling his employees won't fix the shitty products and selling method? Or should I stick to the good ol' “thanks for helping me grow professionally but I found a career path better suited for me”?
TIA!
