I work as an accountant not public accounting but public adjacent so still lots of extra hours and shitty clients. I got a new job as an analyst and I’m getting paid more, better bennies and, less hours. My director called me after I resigned and was like how what can we do to make you stay and I got to calmly say nothing and when pressed they couldn’t match the offer. I’m saving my fuck you for Thursday for the manger that told me if I didn’t like what I was making I was more then welcome to find another job elsewhere.
