Resume update, can I put the timeline I worked a job vs the time I was paid properly?

Upper Management: “You know how long these things take…” 🤮 I did my manager job for ~6 months before formally receiving the appropriate title and compensation while we negotiated. My daily duties didn’t change with the announcement. Can I reasonably claim the title on my resume from the time I started the work (and they first offered the promotion) or should I start it from the announcement date? Their systemic habit of doing that to employees is one reason I don’t want to work there anymore, but is that philosophy too anti-work for corporate business? Let’s discuss before I bomb my career or something stupid.
