I started at company x a few months ago. From the start, I was part time on a T/Th/Fri schedule due to my main job. A condition of my employment is maintaining this schedule.
Soon enough they began scheduling me outside of this. I made a complaint/reminder, & did my shifts, clearly that was a mistake. Rather than heeding to my warning, they began scheduling me for more days outside of my availability & telling me a day or two before. I told them this would not fit my availability. My supervisor retaliated by having me come in for a shift an hour and a half in advance and to simply wait outside.
To avoid this issue again i requested being given a schedule at the beginning of the week with times and dates. My supervisor responded that i “needed to check the paperwork, rather than expecting a the time to be on the calendar” (which is a physical calendar in the office, doesnt use google calendars or any email scheduling)
So i began checking the paperwork and arriving 30 mins before jobs as company policy indicated.
Yesterday alone, i sent my supervisor messages 3 separate times about the remainder of this weeks schedule. To no avail. She constantly skirted the question. The most direct response i was given was “we never know until we know, but between 7:30-8 is usually the time…”
After asking her to “keep me posted,” she didnt respond. I texted her this morning before the job saying i’d arrive at 7:40. Again, no response. However when i arrived every response she had was passive aggressive and condescending, something that is consistent.
TLDR: passive aggressive supervisor doesnt respect my time schedule so i left before the shift
