I collected a few dozen data points of salaries of various positions within a company. These salaries had no personal private information. The information included was salary, years of experience, and the ocassional market rate.
I did this because I wanted to know and understand how the company was compensating its employees. To see if I was underpaid.
At the time of leaving (new job) I shared this with a few disclosed amount of personnel as for it to not get out of hand.
Following the release my old supervisors found out about it and were not happy. Should I be worried? Will I be able to come back?
