My boss recently told me that as a salaried employee, I need to work longer hours if necessary to ensure the work gets done. Same boss who told me that when I book my vacation I need to put 7.5 hours not 7 because I am only alloted 30 minutes for lunch. So I am on the clock and hourly when it comes lunch times and vacations but salary when it comes to working extra time…sure
