So I’m interviewing for what appears to be this great job after realizing I’m not making nearly enough money at my current job. Currently making 55k. I asked for the salary budget for the new job and the hiring manager said 75-85k. Obviously don’t want to put the cart before the horse here, but if I’m offered the job should I ask for 90k? I don’t want them to be taken aback and rescind the offer, but I want to make sure I’m not leaving any money on the table.
