Sanity from my manager

just wanted to share this positive experience i had past week with my manager. I work for for a it company with a small office and the company that owns us handles payment, because i still have school and other things to attend. I dont have a fixed contract but one based on my avalibality. Because of this i have to send a list of days i worked every month to the parent company. If you miss the deadline they will pay you a month late. Because i didnt work in the end of november in forgot to do this so i figured id just send it in end of this month. So last week my manager asked me if i send my hours to hr last month. I told him i forgot and he immidiatly, he immidieatly was concerned if i was able to get round this month and offerd to help out of his pocket. He also contacted hr based in our parent company to see if it is possible to pay out earlier but that probarly wont happen because corporate bs.

This and many other experiences make me feel glad to be working here and a good reminder to my self to not settle for jobs with shitty people anymore
