I just heard a Wendy's radio advertisement that said ” you can't buy much with 5 dollars these days but you can buy (something or other from Wendy's) for 5 dollars”. I looked up Wendy's average pay for their workers and it's 9/hr.. they actively acknowledged inflation and how its hard to afford things these days while actively paying their employees wages that make it hard to afford anything… that just seems so messed up!!
