So I moved to Illinois two years ago for my job. They needed someone willing to relocate and open up the new facility. After changes in management and being screwed out of a promotion by that new management ($20k bump) my family and I decided to move back to Missouri. I reapplied to a supervisor position in the plant that I used to work at and today I was told the results of that interview. I apparently was unprofessional for 1) having my video interview at home, 2) that my house was dirty due to packing, and 3) my kid was on my lap. He's one and a half and is showing signs of autism so he sometimes needs constant touch. So I was turned down for the position with a company I literally moved 500 miles for and now I don't know what to do. I don't really have a backup now.
