seeking advice do I pick option A or B?

Im leaving my current employer(stupid grocery store job) this week for a new job. I start on Friday. Im also scheduled to work at my dumb grocery store job on Friday. I dont plan on going in regardless of the options. I have 6-7hrs of sick pay left and a vacation at the end of the month. I need to cash out sick pay this week. My performance is currently on watch at my current employer, bc they dont think i work hard enough. And dont want to deal with them up my ass 24/7 this week. I will cease employment with my grocery store on Oct1st i can either: A: call out for tomorrow use my sick pay. Hand in my notice and not be expected to perform above expectations for the rest of the week and call out Friday to work at my new job and not return.…


Im leaving my current employer(stupid grocery store job) this week for a new job. I start on Friday. Im also scheduled to work at my dumb grocery store job on Friday. I dont plan on going in regardless of the options.

I have 6-7hrs of sick pay left and a vacation at the end of the month. I need to cash out sick pay this week. My performance is currently on watch at my current employer, bc they dont think i work hard enough. And dont want to deal with them up my ass 24/7 this week. I will cease employment with my grocery store on Oct1st i can either:

A: call out for tomorrow use my sick pay. Hand in my notice and not be expected to perform above expectations for the rest of the week and call out Friday to work at my new job and not return. This way I only get normal pay. This will have a 100% chance of sick pay approval.

B: go to work tomorrow and finish Thursday call out Friday and get sick pay approved on Friday. Then hand in my notice and go on vaca. This way i get paid Friday twice from my sick pay and new employer. Im unsure if they'll approve my sick pay if they know I am leaving.
