My wife and I are considering leaving our jobs, selling everything, and traveling the country (US) in an RV. We've been considering this for a couple of years, but we're afraid to make the leap.
We're in our mid-40s without much savings. I am an IT manager / sysadmin, and I can work remotely from an RV. My wife could probably get a remote position as well.
We're in the best place we've ever been in our lives, but we feel like we're wasting our last, best years. Yeah, we'd still have to work here and there. Maybe on a contract basis, but we'd at least feel more free.
Has anyone ever attempted this? We're looking for tips, tricks, harsh reality, and general input. Thanks!
