My friend applied to a local business and without an interview or even an acknowledgement that they were being hired, they recieved an email 2.5h notice before their first shift.
My friend called and explained to them that another job had been accepted and they wouldn't be showing up for their shift…
As if the extremely short notice and assumption of acceptance, they also scheduled them to work a closing shift, directly followed by an opening shift for their second shift ever.
Without even ensuring availability.
I'm glad my friend has a job at a different company because this place is clearly a dumpster fire.
