I keep seeing two type of posts on here, the chats where someone’s conversation goes something along the lines of:
1: I’m calling off
2: find someone to cover your shift
1: no, you’re a manager, you’re supposed to manage so YOU find a replacement
And the second type like this:
1: hey, ___ called off and I need you to be here at 3pm
2: I’m off
1: Yea, but we still need you to come in.
2: No, im not. If you keep asking then I quit
What’s a manager supposed to do in these cases? They can’t strong arm someone to come in
