Setting myself free

My place of employment was hit hard by covid. It is a midsize family-owned call center and we lost accounts and spent a lot on the transition to remote work. Supervisors and managers took on a lot more responsibility without extra pay, agents had hours cut and didn't get the bonuses that are promised. Fast forward 2 years, and we have had supervisors and managers quit without being replaced. We now have enough accounts that agents are required to work OT. Fast forward 2 years, and we have had supervisors and managers quit without being replaced. We now have enough accounts that agents are required to work OT. Still, no raise, no bonuses not even a thank you or a discussion about plans to change. I started to look for a part-time job to supplement my income and the more I looked the more I realized that I just wanted a new job. I found an entry-level position that offers $5/hr more than I make as a supervisor. I went to put in my 2 weeks but found out they also changed the policy from paying out unused vacation time at the end of employment. I haven't been able to use my vacation because of a lack of staffing. So I lied. I told them I need 3 weeks off for training on my new part-time job and then I can work them both. In reality, at the end of the 3 weeks, I am handing in my notice. I have also sent ads for better-paying jobs and told all of my coworkers how much money I was making (because I was making more than they are) and suggested they demand a raise. I have never been this petty. But it feels really good.
