I worked at a large company (I probably shouldn't name the company at this time; I am waiting on severance discussions.)
I worked there for 8 years, most of which as a supervisor. Like most other people in the US, I was living paycheck to paycheck. We were not given notice before being terminated for “restructuring”.
I have health problems and vital medication I need to take daily, but my benefits will end on July 1st.
It's bittersweet and scary. Time to start a new chapter and try to figure things out.
