This guy started at my job 3 days ago, and I'm ready to quit because of how he's acting. HR “escalated” it, but I have not heard anything yet. I'd like to add, I work in a home for adults with mental disabilities. I'm off today, but I work alone with him tomorrow. My husband works for the same company, at a different house, and he is livid.
The email I sent to HR and both of my supervisors is as follows:
“To all attached, I am writing this to make it known that Derek, who currently works at house, has been acting sexually perverse. He has made numerous lewd comments, not only to me, but also to clients, about me. These include, but are not limited to:
• Telling me how much he enjoys oral sex
• Asking me exactly what I view as cheating on my spouse
• Telling me how sex with my husband will be when he gets tired of me one day, and then he proceeded to thrust vulgarly towards the counter in front of him, pretending to finish very quickly.
• Telling me that he “ejaculates prematurely”, and the things he likes to do to handle that when having sex.
• Smacking my butt with a client's wheelchair pad as he walked past
• When a client made a sexual remark about me
Derek chimed in, agreeing with the client, and
fist bumping him while they both laughed.
He did all these things while we were the only staff in the house. I did not confront him in the moment, because I did not know how long we would be alone together, and instead waited until my coworker returned to talk to him about it.”
Ngl I'm so fucking close to just quitting. I love my job, and I adore my clients. But like…..fuck, I can't work with guy.
