I have been working at a plumbing company as a helper/ warehouse worker.
I have been working here for about 6 months starting at $11/hr and got a raise to $12 about a month ago.
My question is should I ask for a dollar or two more as I have been staying late almost everyday because I now have to drive to another warehouse location to work which is almost 2 hours away.
I did not apply to be in the warehouse I applied to learn plumbing, which I did on and off. But now it seems that they are short staffed on warehouse people which is why im having to do this and I cant seem to get straight answer as for when im going to get back out with a plumber which is very annoying.
I have been a great help to every plumber I have been with since I started (they told me) and I have helped greatly in the warehouse doing yard work, stocking, delivering bathtubs.
I just dont feel that $12 is enough for what I am doing for them especially since they seem to really need me because of the warehouse staff shortage.
I am worried that because I just got a dollar raise, asking for more would be pushing it so I am just wondering if this is a good or bad idea.
