Should I contact HR about my VP?

I work at a startup that recently hired a new VP. Today after accidentally eating something I was allergic to (it was contaminated) the new VP decided to consistently cut me off when I was talking to fellow coworker about how sick I feel and then when we did the practice he blew up and told me to go home as I was “bringing down the energy and he doesn’t have time for this”. I very clearly communicated I was sick but wanted to stay for the meeting as to not be reprimanded. Even while I was trying to communicate he kept cutting me off and essentially told me “should’ve not eaten something you were allergic to!” (Gee thanks for the advice). I want to go to HR just for the fact that it very much seems like he has a target out for me. He doesn’t seem to like…

I want to go to HR just for the fact that it very much seems like he has a target out for me. He doesn’t seem to like me to begin with ever since he started and today just brought that to another level. I know HR is only there to protect the company but I would want this on file in case he decides to fire me simply because he dislikes me and so I can at least hit back and say I had a complaint regarding genuine lack of care of my literal disease to maybe scare them away from going further.

PS, I know the workplace is toxic (everyone says so) but i can’t just quit right now and look for another job.

Any advice?
