First let me say, the only reason I haven’t quit yet is because the industry I’m in in my city is so small, there currently is no other open job.
It’s always been so disrespectful. And my boss never makes a schedule for this particular job, he just texts a day in advance (already shitty) But most recently…. This past Sunday at 9pm I had to text and ask if I work Monday. No I don’t. Ok happens like every other fucking week. Didn’t hear anything yesterday (Monday) about working today. And I refused to text two days in a row. I text my coworker and apparently boss man went into the business last night and told said coworker that we work at 10am today. NEVER CONTACTED ME. I only found out because I contacted coworker.
This is my fucking livelihood and the sheer amount of disrespect I constantly get is insane. I find out things texted to other coworker through him texting me. Why can’t the boss just SEND ME THE SAME TEXT?
This is just a portion of the shit I’ve put up with for a year. And I am constantly looking at job openings even elsewhere in the state to commute. It’s just not financially justifiable.
