Hey guys, so tonight I walked out of my job. I haven’t been there exceptionally long (perhaps a month, month and a half) but my reason for doing so is that I finally got to the final hiring procedures for a job that will FINALLY pay my bills and allow myself the financial freedom that I have been working towards for years. When I tried to speak with my owner, managers and coworkers about perhaps allowing me to work there 2-3 nights a week and start this amazing new chapter in my life (its a small kitchen type setting), I was belittled, told I was ungrateful and should be embarrassed and ashamed I would want more after “all they’ve done for me”. Should I feel like an asshole?
