Should I give two weeks notice?

Alright, here’s the situation: I’ve been working an entry level position for the last 1.5 years. Honestly, it’s been an absolute hell of stress and anxiety due to pressure. My colleague quit one year ago and I ended up taking on her job as well as an open position that never ended up getting filled because why pay for another employee when I’m doing the job of three for the price of one. Anyway, a year ago I told my boss that this wasn’t working for me. In a bid to keep me, I was offered a slight salary increased of $3,000 per year. It worked and I’ve stayed. Anyway, a year ago I told my boss that this wasn’t working for me. In a bid to keep me, I was offered a slight salary increased of $3,000 per year. It worked and I’ve stayed.

It’s been a year of me offering creative solutions for how to fix the lack of organization and leadership at this company. Nothing has stuck and I feel like I continuously complain about my job to friends and family.

I put my two weeks’ notice in a few days after Christmas but quickly reclaimed the email because the “job offer” I received at another company turned out to be a scam (that’s a story for another day). Anyway, my boss ended up reading the email before I could reverse it and I ended up in a meeting with the CEO to discuss what could be done to make me stay with the company. That was the first week of January. Since then, absolutely nothing has changed.

I’m going on vacation tomorrow for a week with my boyfriend and his family. I told my boss that I would bring my laptop and continue to work throughout my vacation. Buuuut I really feel like quitting tomorrow morning before I get on my flight. The question is, do I give them two weeks notice?

I know if give the two weeks notice then I’ll be an anxious mess during the whole vacation because I’ll be worrying that I’ll miss a meeting. I realize I already know my answer, but I guess I’m just looking for some empowerment and validation.
