Should I quit my server job?

I’m a server trainee who works at a well known restaurant chain that servers “pizza cookies”. Also the restaurant name is synonymous with Blowjobs. Lol. Busted my ass for 8 hours running food as a server trainee / tipped food runner. I never got a semblance of an actual break and I did way more shit than most of the other servers. I got tipped a whopping $8 on my fucking Wisely card. What percentage do servers usually tip to food runners? Because I honestly feel cucked. When I become a server, I don’t ever want my team to feel like they did an amazing job, only to be given a few dollars. As a good runner, how do I know when I’m doing too much for the servers? Are all restaurants like a hierarchy, where you need to kiss ass and be friends with the servers instead of actually work working hard?

I don’t want to be one of the strongest and efficient workers, only to have to compete in a popularity contest.
