So I recently quit a job at a fast food restaurant where I was getting paid minimum wage, and I've just got an offer in retail paying 1 cent below minimum wage. In my country each industry has their own minimum wage, and this retail job is paying me 30% more per hour but is 1 cent below minimum wage for the retail industry. I'm only working 15-20 hours a week because of uni so I probably only lose a dollar or 2 per month but still it's got me feeling a little uneasy.
