So I’m curious….I’m a machine operator at a plant that makes snacks. Last week I threw up at work (thankfully not on the work floor, it was on my break when I was outside.) I told our Crewer she said I could take a Covid test that they offer. If I had Covid I’d be able to leave. I didn’t end up having Covid. However, the Crewer asked me to stay or it would be a hit to go home. (Despite feeling sick and already throwing up ??????) I ended up taking the hit (after a certain amount we get fired lol) and going home. Idk. It feels odd. Why would a plant that makes snacks want me to stay to run the machines that package all the product?? After I threw up???
