Graduated back in late December, and since then, I have yet to find an internship or a job that I can take on. The entirety of this summer vacation has been me struggling to find something that can aid me in my future career which could help me in finding a more stable job on the long run.
Almost all the jobs/internships that I've found on LinkedIn and other job-finding sites mention that, in order to be accepted into this internship, you need to have AT LEAST 1-2 years of working experience which I lack since I did not engage in any kind of work during my uni days.
For those wondering, I used to live in Lebanon before moving back to Dubai. Don't let that “luxury life” fool you into thinking that everyone who lives in Dubai is financially successful. It's all just total bullshit. The people who are getting hired are either people who lack any sense of accountability or people who have the mentality of a fucking robot.
I literally encountered a water company employee yesterday who DOESN'T know how to read or write. Heck, he can't even speak English which, from what I know, is somewhat of a requirement nowadays.
So that's 6 years of my life yearning and paying countless bills and tuitions down the fucking drain.
