Disclaimer: my gf (21f) did this, I (19m) am writing this.
I had been sick last week and got a positive covid test. Fast forward to the start of my girlfriends work week this past Saturday, she started off with the same symptoms as me and it progressed even further into a pretty severe fever for two days, to the point she couldn't even hold down water. She obviously thought she had covid and works in food service so didn't want to get others sick.
I should mention this puts her at 3 points (out of 4 available yearly) and she just started 3 months ago. She loves this job and had a hard time getting one, what can we do?
