Slightly Tone Deaf

We are one of the spots ravaged by hurricane Fiona, where power has not been restored, people are without running water, etc…. Our local Emergency Management Office (EMO) has asked people to stay off the roads until power lines are restrung and roads are made safe. Not to mention our workplace town is wrecked pretty badly. A few hours after our employer (1000+ employees on a school campus) got power back they asked that all employees return to work that day. No compassion for the situation people are in. No thought about families with children who's schools are still closed and will be until mid next week. I cannot fathom what goes through their heads.
