TLDR: on my last post here
Long story short, I left about 3 months ago for a job that paid 30% more. I gave my 2 week notice and the company didn’t try to fight for me or provide any kind of raise.
The the district manager (above my direct supervisor) did call me and said he understood and thanked my for everything I managed to do and that a spot will always be open for me.
I’m just gonna lay bullet points to make everything easier to read.
DRUM ROLL PLEASE.
- Everyone in my department transferred or left the company.
- i didn’t leave any instructions or procedures so they had to build from scratch.
- My direct supervisor quit about a month ago
- District manager now has to pick up all the slack
- He gave me a call a week ago and promised me my old managers position and a signing bonus if I can correct all the issues before Q3.
- If I don’t accept they have to sign again with the previous contractor for 30% more of the OG cost.
I’m currently happy with my current job and I knew that my old department would crumble, all they had to do was give me a raise but instead they’re about to drop 7 figures on a new contract that I literally busted my ass to take in house to save the company a metric shit ton of money.
