Was speaking to my family and they said that it’s entitled to expect this. They said that because they did it themselves, that I or nobody should expect this. Told them that I wasn’t going against what they have already done and that I’m talking about the businesses, as they have exploited them too. Still, I am “entitled” for expecting the bare minimum. Horrific if you ask me, but is this something you’ve come across before, even with your own family members/friends?
