Whenever I talk to people about Ukraine the amount of disinterest, apathy and lack of knowledge on the matter is astounding.
“So, what jobs have you applied to?”
“. . .”
“There's a literal war right now in Europe”
“So?”
Do people not understand the ramifications? The consequences? What this is going to lead to? I don't even know if the species is going to wiped out in the next few weeks and I get people messaging me from LinkedIn not even phased. Thousands if not tens and hundreds of thousands of lives are going to be lost. This is the most historic event in Europe since WW2 if not the world and people are shrugging it off. Its as if I'm the only one phased by this and everyone is acting like it will all be over soon. Literally fuck my career right now im on edge waiting to see how a delusion, power hungry dictators next actions are and if any nuclear missiles are going to be launched instead of looking st my job application. Fucking hell.
