so I walked out of a job

I haven't been fired yet, it's only been an hour and a half since it happened. I was providing security for an event 7.30am to 1pm then starting my other job at 2pm. I don't have a car so I'm reliant on public transport to get me places. I informed them before accepting the shift that I needed to finish exactly on time so I could leave. They gave the okay.

So today rolled around and I started the shift, I told them as I started that I needed to leave exactly on time to make my next job and they gave the okay.

I reminded them during my break that I needed to leave on that time as well.

I talked to my coworkers and made sure they knew as well. It is only my 3rd day working for them but I already coworkers have told me that they like to be flexible with the time.

So 10 minutes before my shift ends, I remind them once more that I need someone to replace my position. No one does.

I wait an extra five minutes and leave.

If they won't respect my time then I won't work for them.
