So i work in a super market for 7 year, one thing ive stated numerous time was Sunday really wasn't worth the additional 1.20 given the extra action. Been saying it for years and even talked how im working on an exit plan to a better job, even if its just a differnt super market. So turns out several co workers found that odd and i finally fopund out after 2 year suynday suposed to be time and a half.
Been working here 7 years, 8 hour sundays, every sunday cause no one else is willing. That like $5 a hour for /5/ year and 8 hours a day every sunday i've been sorted by corporate.
I'm going to talk to my union rep and try and fix this but word of warning stay on top of your benefits folks, if should seems shitty, yeah your probably being taken advantage of by corporate.
