Was told that there were rumors that our management positions were shifting. So I looked on our site and there they are. They aren't positions that are available yet but you can put that you're interested. I did. The next day management is all kinds of mixed up because they found out that everyone knew there were spots opening up and showed interest. Why were they all mixed up?
Because they had already picked people to fill the spots (people already in management). They weren't going to let anyone other than current members of management apply. Also, the survey for deciding if you're qualified for any type of change in position just asks about your previous jobs.
So any experience I've had here isn't even considered. All the times I've done higher paying jobs at my shitty pay grade, useless. It's just musical chairs for the ones who kiss the managers ass.
