I went back into retail sales back in May selling cell phones again. I was told that there was $300 commissions on phone sales. That was a lie. I'll be honest the commission isn't bad but no one knows our store exists. A few Saturdays ago, there was 4 of us working, all of us scheduled open to close and we saw 8 customers total. I had the only customer that was a sale. That made me $60 I never saw because our company does either hourly or commission. So if I nade a few sales and it didn't total over what I would make hourly, my pay hourly is $10 an hour. What really sucks us my boss is actually really great, treats people like human beings. I told her when I gave notice that 9 out of 10 jobs i leave is because of management, this isn't one of then, I just don't get paid enough. On the bright side my next job us just under $20 an hour Monday through Friday. I honestly can't wait to get my life back on track.
