Somehow through all this shit I’ve kept it together but now at 36 I’m paycheck to paycheck again with zero savings.

Let me preface this with that I make 150k per year. Sounds like a lot, right? I've only had this job for a year. Rewind three years ago I was at 50k. This was a big step up for my family and I. 3 months into the new job my wife leaves me and we go through a divorce. She stayed at home with the kids. I was able to give that to her but because of that I got screwed on alimony and child support. I'm now paying for two households, supporting 3 kids, and barely scraping by. My career is already so stressful but now I'm pushing myself more to a higher position just so I can start a 401k and savings. I hate this. The stress keeps piling and there is no escape. I'm 36 now and have 30 years to go.
