Howdy!
Someone ik was let go from their contract position managing real estate. The contract wasn't yet established due to a 90 day waiting period. Are there any labor board protections? Or can the IRS get them? They were paying money untaxed and collected no tax information, so I suspect the company is violating tax laws. I am uncertain about any labor protections considering the lack of a contract or legal record, but I'm hoping to find out if there's anything that can be done.
