Someone Please Correct me

I make this post not to lecture but to be enlightened.. I would like to propose to you that r/antiwork need not exist.. unless to perhaps raise awareness about things we can change, or vent. none of us are owed anything. Until recently, Humans were hunter gatherers and Their lives were short, brutal and miserable. The only thing we are owed is our bare hands and the wilderness. Everything else is up to us. When human civilization did finally develop, conditions for the average person were still pretty awful. Farming your life away for a lord.. ect. Even today in many places, people live and work in conditions we would shudder at. People risk their lives to come to America (where I reside) all the time. When you put it into perspective, should we really complain? Many of us still live and will continue to live more comfortably than most…

none of us are owed anything.

Many of us still live and will continue to live more comfortably than most humans in the world both past and present.

So is everything still shitty? Should people expect a livable wage? Is it horrible that these corporations are extorting us in broad daylight? Should we cry out for reform?…. Abso- fucken- lutely..

But Sometimes there is famine, sometimes drought, and sometimes a tyrant who extorts common folk. This is nothing new, and has been far, far worse in the past as well as in other countries today.

Yes, the boomer generation had it good, but what about the countless generations before them?

So I ask, what are we hoping to achieve here? Is this the proper way to speread awareness and reach reform? Why dont people get more organized?

I'd like to hear some different viewpoints about what I've said. Thanks
