Sometimes its not the employer that makes you leave a job.

So my sister (31F) has been looking for a job because she wants to phase out of caregiving and yesterday she interviewed at a printing place and was hired and started today. She was pretty excited that she found something close to home and the owners were super nice and she really liked the vibe of the place and was ready to work. She called me on her break to tell me that everything was going really well but she might not stay, and when I asked why she told me that the lady doing the designs came up to her and in an incredibly rude manner told her not to put sticky notes on the forms she was filling out because she couldn't stand them.

My sister immediately told her that if she had a problem with them she could talk to the owners who trained her because they are the ones that said she should use them. I didnt get much else since she had to go back to work, but I told her to make it clear to the owners that she will not put up with disrespect from another employee. She does have other job offers (she can easily find a client but would rather have a steady job in an office setting) and does well with interviews and has lots of other places she applied at for similar work so its not like she's desperate for the job, and she should make it known to the owners that she doesnt need to be there and she won't show up if the entitled lady doesn't learn to talk to my sister with base level respect. I reminded her that its her first day and she has every right to demand a work environment where she's not being disrespected. If they decide that they dont need her and can't tell the lady to be respectful then she can just accept one of the other 2 job offers she has already. Like the title of the post says, its not always the employer that makes you say “fuck this job”.
