Some Youtube narrator said “free time” in a video I was watching, and it prompted me to think about what that phrase truly means. It's very telling that we describe the moments 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 as free. I'm not sure about you, but I prefer to be free all the time. It's rather ironic that free time is the most expensive. Why can't a man work and simultaneously be free ? It seems to me that spare time is a construct – an imaginary reward for slaving the rest of your day away. I could not think of a better sub to post this on.
