The staffing agency that Iam employed through (Icon Staffing) is based in Texas, but I work and live in Massachusetts. MA state law says that iam entitled to accrue sick time, and that they are required to give me 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours of work. Still not great, but its something. However, ICON STAFFING refuses to acknowledge this and has specifically told me that they WIIL NOT offer any sick time. This is a confusing situation to me due to multiple states being involved. If anyone has any recommendations or Input, I would greatly appreciate it. I believe that Staffing agencies are mostly horrible organizations that allow large companies to exploit workers without having to give out benefits.
