Staffing/consulting firm lied about role to get me to accept

How is this legally ok? I was debating roles and accepted a role my “recruiter” was clearly pushing as they negotiated more remote days on my behalf instead of more money. So 3 days remote and 2 days on site w overtime. It was a 5-6 hour daily round trip commute, quite expensive, and I accepted based on 3 days remote + overtime. The moment i started the role, it was 2 days remote and 9-5 hours. I asked my new temporary employer why this was and they got mad as this deal wasn’t made as I was informed by my recruiter. So I asked for this as the extra daily commute adds so much cost/extra time and was let go….. I’m livid as I feel like these staffing firms act like used car salesmen. They will lie to your face to get you to accept a role and there…
