Started a job with a company on March 21st. Today after working my whole shift they laid me off for “economic reasons”.

I moved from states away and sacrificed so much to get this job. I busted my ass every single day. My job was prepping closing disclosures for mortgage refinances. Before this all I’ve ever worked was dead end jobs that required minimal effort. For the first time ever I was working a job that I genuinely enjoyed (give or take a few situations that came up) and i felt proud to be working there. I worked all day today just to be brought into office and told i’m being laid off for “economic reasons” and that they are getting rid of my position. But for the past month or so that I’ve been working there they’ve had multiple interviews a day coming in and out. We also had a meeting last week and my manager said they are bringing on new clients/working with new lenders so they definitely aren’t losing…

It took me months to find this job and just to find a job in general that pays enough for me to live on my own. I give up.
