unsure if this is the right place to post this but basically i started a new job today. I understood what the job description entailed and told myself I could handle it (animal testing) because I can understand that animals do, sometimes, have a place as a research model. I have worked with animals in wildlife rehab and a shelter so I have seen sad animals, I guess I just didnt know the moral weight this would have for me. I was trying to look at the big picture because science is important and changes lives, I love biology! But now I am sitting here questioning if I should go back tomorrow. Should I try and stick out the rest of this week? Would it be better to just resign now so that it doesn’t waste either of our time? I have backups so I won’t take a major financial hit by not working for a week. Let me know your thoughts.
