Started a new office job today. Was immediately trained on janitorial duties, blindsided by the fact that I’d be sharing a desk with student employees, AND was told to bring my personal computer because there’s no computer for me at the desk. I’m fucking baffled

This job required a degree and years of administrative experience to even be considered. The interview led me to believe I'd be supervising said student employees and today I learn I'm on the same rung as them, except I have to abide by the corporate dress code and they don't. Bruh
