It's a RV retail business in which I started back in April as a detailer for $15/hr. Originally I interviewed for the warranty advisor position and didn't get it. A month after I started my boss asked if I was still interested in warranty, to which I said I was, because I figured less manual labor and better pay. Well, the manual labor part is definitely less, but today my boss finally brought my new pay plan forward after I've been trained in the warranty position for about a month now. Paper says 24k salary, plus commission and bonuses. That equals out to 12.50/hr… one hell of a paycut if I don't make commission. Which I won't because the store is more than 6 months behind in warranty claims due to lack of an advisor. I don't know if I should just start looking for a new job now, or stick this out to see what happens. Either way, I'm pissed.
